GTA 6. Everything you need to know before the next big thing in the gaming industry.

The gaming world has been abuzz with excitement and speculation ever since the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) by Rockstar Games. As one of the most highly anticipated games in recent memory, GTA 6 promises to redefine open world gaming with perfection. 

Let's dive into whatever we have about the game so far being as brief as possible.

Leaks:

The GTA 6 leaks had created absolute havoc in social media. While some users claimed that the leaks were fake and could possibly be modded versions of GTA 5 , Rockstar put all the talk to silence after confirming the leaks. 

New Gameplay features:

In addition to accessible interiors and a new weapon wheel ,the gameplay revealed several features such as being able to go prone , being able to walk while in cover ( something that irritated most of us while we played GTA 5). One of the best updates is the police behaviour which has reportedly improved from GTA 5. The GTA 6 police reportedly can recognize your vehicle, adding depth to pursuits instead of respraying and getting away. They will take time to arrive at a crime scene instead of just spawning. They would surround the area, not just rush in immediately and give players enough time to surrender before shooting.

Map: 

While news regarding possible GTA 6 updates are dropping in like basically everyday , a possible GTA 6 map leak has also surfaced online.

The map is also rumoured to be set in Miami ( which is in another rendition of Vice City). One video shows us a lake that would be far from Miami, so the map could also feature a bigger chunk of Florida.

The game is set in the modern day, after the events of GTA 5.

Many landmarks from the Miami area are accurately represented in the game, just like GTA 5 did with Los Angeles.

Availability:

With that being said , GTA 6 will be a next-gen exclusive game, at least for now. Meaning, it will be available for PS5 and Xbox X/S platforms only. 

Release date: 

The game was rumoured to release somewhere between 2024-2025. 

GTA 5 started development in April 2008 and in about 5 years time we got to witness one of the greatest pieces in gaming history.

GTA 6 , on the other hand started development in 2014 which is sure enough to leave fans expecting much more of what GTA 5 has given us. While some people also believe that GTA 6 must have a mix of the GTA 5 gameplay and physics of GTA 4 , others also want a complete new approach to the game. 

Either way ,in my personal opinion, the gameplay and graphics of RDR2 , which is although a different franchise but stil developed by Rockstar games which came out in 2018 definitely has hyped me up for GTA 6.
